***Islam is the instinctive religion for every human being. Every human instinctively knows that he is a created being, thus there must be a Creator. However, cultural elements cause man to develop many distorted notions of the Creator. Some believe in idols as god’s helpers, and some believe that god has sons and daughters, while others believe in some kind of mysterious triune god.***
***Islam teaches that God is One. He begets not nor was He begotten. This straight forward and simple theology of Islam attracted millions of truth-seekers. This theology is the belief of all of Allah’s Messengers, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad.***
A person becomes a Muslim when he believes that there is no true god except Allah and Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, and then verbalizes his/ her belief by saying:
“I bear witness there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger.”
